![]() It wouldn't be hard to add a setting to remove them. This is why there should be more settings, some people just dont like special zombies. Just make a copy of the XML file as a backup in case you mess something up Or you can go into the XML files and just remove the group "zombies_irradiated" whereever you find them (spawn.xml) and they shouldn't spawn anymore. ![]() I have never had a problem killing them, not even the irradiated wights. That's just my recommendation, use the right tool for the job. This alpha makes guns and ammo quite common so you shouldn't have any problem finding them. With all those points in perception and headshot you should be able to easily take them out with a firearm, even if it's just a pistol. The problem with the irradiated zombies is that they regenerate health, and if it's already a high health zombie it's going to make it very hard to kill with something as slow as a crossbow. You should always have a firearm on your belt, even if it's just a pistol. In this alpha I would never recommend taking on irradiated zombies without a firearm. The game should not be deciding I'm not allowed to kill them because ha ha they have endless health pools ha ha we're hilarious devs look at how hilarious we are. If I have good equipment and my aim is good I should be able to kill zombies. ![]() I have 1200 hours in 7 Days to Die and it's been one of my favorite games for years but unkillable zombies that can just tank literally dozens of headshots in a row and barely even stagger is NOT FUN. Honestly after that experience I just want to uninstall the game and never recommend it to anyone again. I ended up only killing two of the four zombies before eventually dying after expending about 80 or 90 steel bolts. I have the gear, I put my perks mostly into combat revolving around my crossbow and hitting headshots, and I still can't kill these radiated zombies even as I turn their faces into a forest of arrow shafts. This is simply a ridiculous thing to have in your game. i want to lower the hp of the irradiated zombies as i find them a bit bullet spongey (ran through 50 shotgun shells point blank headshots on two of them along with about 40 more slugs) and would like to either mod them out completely or lower their hp to something that isnt quite so annoying. This is 12 headshots in about a minute's time (I know they regenerate so I was doing it fast) In this situation I pumped no fewer than 12 headshots in a row into a radiated biker and it was still not dead. This is I believe at default difficulty or maybe even 1 below default. At this point in my game I have my precision stat pretty high, headshot perk at level 3, a fully modded out crossbow with steel bolts and tons of ammo. One of the rooms had 4 radiated biker zombies in it. Today I was doing a quest that involved clearing out a house.
